50ml Havana Club
15ml sugar syrup
10ml lemon
15ml lime
cubed ice
2 mint sprigs, approx 8 leaves in total
soda water top
high ball & straws


Put the sugar syrup into your high ball glass. Slap one mint sprig lightly, then with a long spoon press it into the sugar syrup. Add the lemon and lime juice and fill the glass with cubed ice. Stir in the rum and lift the mint sprig with the spoon from the bottom of the glass. Top with soda water. Add straws and garnish with a sprig of slapped mint.
